I gave them the law of love, simple and true, why could they not understand it?
Because they did not believe in it, they lost it.
Now they feel the void inside themselves and they need to believe in something. Hence the rush after every new-born pseudo-religion.
Out of an instinct of the sacred, remained somewhere deep inside the human being ever since his own creation, now – when their breathing is forbidden to them – they lift their eyes to the sky as in prayer. Yet the eyes stay empty with oblivion, the lips parted with lack of words, for they do not how to pray, what to pray with! Their words – words of clay, their promises – empty promises. They forgot who they wanted to talk to.
Even they do not know whether they want to live, whether they want to have Life.
It is for the unnamed void inside them that I AM HERE. For those who do not really know what they want. It is that surviving spark buried deep inside their souls that I rely upon.
It depends on them, on how determined they are now to leave aside their own illusions and fancies, which they have indulged in for so long, to burn the prejudices and the suspicions of the society they live in, to overcome their fear of facing the truth.
